Valuable collections documenting the scientific, cultural and economic achievements of the country or regions are gathered in archives, museums and libraries. Their proper security and storage are therefore crucial.
The Heritage Fair, since its premier in 2013, has become the industry trade show for equipment and services for archives, libraries and museums and which comprehensively covers issues related to this field and provides expert knowledge in this area.
Starting in 2014, we wanted to expand our Fair to include monument protection and the conservation sector, which will complement the existing discourse in the field of archivisation, library science and museology. Thanks to this, we will be able to create a unique event in Poland that comprehensively addresses these issues. It is an attempt to continue and refer to the positive tradition of the 2005-2007 Monument Conservation and Restoration Fair and MONUMENTS Urban Renewal, under the patronage of the General Monument Conservator.
The event is aimed at enhancing cooperation between entities producing and distributing equipment, as well as providing specialised services, and art conservators or administrators of archives, libraries or museums. The Fair will again be divided into two parts – exhibition and conference – covering the most important and new issues connected with the subjects of protection, conservation, equipment, services and computer programs, management of documents, and related fields, allowing for the implementation of new solutions and services, as well as enhancing cooperation and exchange of experience.
